“As a photojournalist, I was trained to look for the candid moments that paint a story. Posed shots were never an option – nor was retaking a photo.”

The ethical standards and precise rules of newspaper photojournalism form the core of Stephanie’s photography principles and methods. Rather than sit in a studio under harsh light, she would much rather get out into the world and capture your interaction with your child, friends, family and surroundings.

After graduating from Humboldt State University with a degree in Journalism & Public Relations, Stephanie moved to Washington State with her fiance, Ryan. They live in Issaquah with their cat, Miss Kitty, and hope to start a family within the next couple of years.

They love to cook, explore Seattle, watch movies, and rock out to Rock Band.
