Erica & Robby | Robinswood House, Bellevue

Before we get into Erica & Robby’s epic love story, we need a bit of context.

Rewind back to July 2010. Feels like decades ago! I had just started my photography business in October 2009, and an adorable couple by the name of Hanna and Tony hired me to shoot their wedding at Daybreak Star Center in Discovery Park in Seattle. They had a beautiful ceremony at Golden Gardens and the reception was a blast. It was there that I met Erica and Robby for the first time.

One of the things I love most about what I do is forming connections with people; relationships and friendships. A few months pass and Erica sends me an email – her and Robby are engaged! When I met with them, I was immediately smitten with how much in LOVE Robby is with Erica, and Erica with Robby. Two peas in a pod who don’t go more than 10 minutes without laughing. They love having fun and I knew their wedding day was going to be filled with special moments.

Congratulations, you two. So much love and well-wishes to a marriage filled with laughter and happiness.

Erica surprised Robby with a boudoir session, and chose to give him the “little black book” of her favorite shots as his wedding day gift. Reactions below speak for themselves. HA!

Giggling is my favorite.

Disclaimer: these boys came up with all of their poses themselves. Seriously some of the funniest wedding party poses ever.

Want an ultra-chic and GORGEOUS backdrop? Light it up. Erica put tons of lights within the trees behind the head table and it made for some really beautiful pictures of the toasts.

Two words: Michael Jackson.

Grandma needed to reapply her lipstick before formal family portraits. “No pictures yet!”
